How lovely is your dwelling place, Lord Almighty! Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked... For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor.
Psalm 84

God’s Will and Decision-making

Romans 12:1-2

My Sermon Notes from November 22, 2020 Full Text:

羅馬書 Romans 12:1-2

1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Discussion Questions:

1. Why is it important to seek God’s will in every decision?
2. What are the possible reasons why believers at times do not seek God’s will?
3. Share with the group your own “steps” in decision-making.
4. What do you think will happen if we don’t seek God’s will in our decisions?
